Breakthrough Miracle Power

performed by Patrick Mayberry

written by Patrick mayberry, BEDE BENJAMIN-KORPORAAL and KRISTIAN STANFILL

Each one of us has either faced, is facing and/or will face obstacles in life. It’s a common denominator of the human race that started when Adam & Eve sinned; and will continue to be until our Lord Jesus returns. Obstacles usually create feelings of fear, hopelessness, anxiety, unassuredness, doubt, insecurity and intimidation within us. The most important question during these times isn’t “Why?” or “How will I get through this?”; but rather, “What is the truth God has given me in His Word, which I can stand upon with expectation, to see me through this?”

I’m reminded of the comforting and victorious truth Jesus told his disciples: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33b,c, NIV); and “I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b, Amplified Bible)

“Breakthrough Miracle Power,” written by Patrick Mayberry, Bede Benjamin-Korporaal & Kristian Stanfill speaks to obstacles and the perspective and response God would have us take, because He is with us! Patrick recorded and released his version of the song at the end of 2020; and Passion, theirs, at the top of 2021. This is a powerful song that’s capturing hearts around the world.

VERSE 1:
The odds stacked against me
Surrounded on all sides
But I’ve heard You can part the waters
So in Your name come and turn the tides

Staring at this mountain
No chance I’m getting through
But I’ve heard they can melt before You
So in Your name I’m asking it to move

CHORUS:
Let that breakthrough miracle power pour out
I need a breakthrough miracle moment right now
Only in You and with You my victory is found
Bring that breakthrough miracle power
Let it rain down

VERSE 2:
The fires around are raging
I feel the heat at every turn
But I’ve heard that You’re in it with me
So now by faith, I’m standing on Your word
And in Your name I know I won’t be burned

BRIDGE:
As long as You’re in it
The story’s not finished
I know You’ve overcome
So I know I’ll overcome

VERSE 3:
The cross stands before me
It’s finished, it is done
Yeah, I heard You told death it was over
So in Your name, I’ll claim this fight is won
